With M3Data ISS, information flows are graphically modeled, controlled and executed using a powerful and flexible iconic programming environment called the Data Flow Processing Studio or DFPS. M3Data ISS Information Flow Diagrams can access, manipulate and deliver any type of data regardless of source, target or type of data (real-time, structured and unstructured). Information flow design is performed through simple drag-and-drop of blocks and arrows. Blocks represent data sources/targets and data manipulation routines. Arrows represent the data flow between these blocks. This simplicity enables the Information Architect to focus on the requirements of the organization’s information flow and not the complexities of the underlying technology. M3Data ISS offers connectors and manipulation routines for a wide variety of information sources and targets including real-time sensors, databases, documents, e-mails, spread-sheets, packaged applications, application interfaces, directory services, enterprise services, portals and dashboards.
