What is M3Data ISS?

M3Data Information Sharing System (ISS) is a plug-and-play, distributed information sharing platform built over existing middleware technologies including Jboss, WebSphere and Weblogic. It provides a new and easy-to-use approach to building information sharing and automation solutions. M3Data ISS allows users to graphically design, deploy and execute business logic, in the form of an information flow diagram, that automatically processes structured and unstructured data in real-time. Information Architects simply map business requirements to their IT environment by modeling the required information flow in logic diagrams from within a graphical studio. M3Data ISS takes care of the rest by performing the necessary functions to execute the diagrams on the run-time environment. The result is that enterprise information, regardless of location or format, is securely monitored, extracted, cleansed, integrated and distributed to where it needs to be.

Because each information flow diagram performs a single automated task, multiple diagrams working together provide an enterprise-wide Information Sharing Backbone that is currently missing from many organizations. Similar to the IP network that enables communication across an entire organization, an Information Sharing Backbone provides the infrastructure that enables next-generation mining, monitoring, management, integration and sharing of information between systems, applications and people.
